- Halloween: Resurrection (2002) [Jennifer "Jen" Danzig]: Decapitated by Michael (Brad Loree) while Bianca Kajlich, Sean Patrick Thomas and Luke Kirby look on. Her severed head then rolls down the stairs.
- White Noise: The Light (2007) [Sherry Clarke]: Dies peacefully when Nathan Fillion (appearing as a spectre of himself) places his hand over her heart.
- Oculus (2014) [Marie Russell]: Shot in the head by her husband (Rory Cochrane); her death is shown in flashback and her ghostly visage is seen throughout the film.

- Battlestar Galactica: Maelstrom (2007) [Captain Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace]: Killed in an explosion when her ship blows up.
