Mary Tamm in 'Tales That Witness Madness'

Mary Tamm (1950 - 2012)

Film DeathsEdit

  • Tales That Witness Madness (1973) [Virginia 'Ginny' Pageant]: Stabbed in the back by Michael Petrovich in a shower stall, after he hypnotizes her into a trance. (Nudity alert: Topless & rear)
  • Three Kinds of Heat (1987) [Piou]: Machine-gunned across the chest and stomach by Sylvester McCoy.

TV DeathsEdit

  • Doctor Who: The Androids of Tara (1979) [Romana/Princess Strella]: Playing a quadruple role as "Romana," "Strella," and their robot duplicates, the robot Strella is bashed in the head with a rock by Tom Baker, and the robot Romana is shot in the back with an energy beam by K-9. (The real Romana and Strella both survive the episode.) (Thanks to PortsGuy)
  • Doctor Who: Destiny of the Daleks (1979) [Romana]: Regenerates (off-screen) by an act of will, transforming into Lalla Ward (after a few rejected forms.) (Mary does not actually appear in this episode; the regeneration started shortly before the episode begins.) (Although the "regenerations" in this series are usually brought about by a fatal injury, such was not the case here. However, since I've listed various Doctors' regenerations as the "deaths" of their incarnations, I'll do the same here.) (Thanks to PortsGuy)
