  • The Charge of the Light Brigade (1936) [Sir Benjamin Warrenton]:  Killed during the Charge of the Light Brigade.
  • The Rains Came (1939) [Lord Albert Esketh]: Drowned, along with Herbert Evans, when the floodwaters come crashing through the wall as Herbert is confronting Nigel on the staircase.
  • Suspicion (1941) [Gordon Cochrane "Beaky" Thwaite]: Murdered (off-screen) in Paris while on a trip with Cary Grant. Joan Fontaine learns of his death in a newspaper article and suspects Cary of being the perpetrator, but it is disclosed at the end of the movie that Cary was elsewhere at the time and the actual killer was an unknown assilant.
