  • Wilson (1944) [First Lady Ellen Wilson]: Dies (off-screen) of kidney illness (the actual cause of isn't mentioned in the film, but the fact are a matter of historic record.) She is shown lying on her deathbed, and her subsequent death is indicated by a shot of a black wreath on the White House doors.
  • Shock (1946) [Margaret Cross (voice)]: Providing the voice of Ruth Clifford's character. She is bludgeoned to death with a candlestick by her husband (Vincent Price) when she threatens to tell all the newspapers about his affair with Lynn Bari which would ruin his psychiatry practice, as Anabel Shaw watches from her balcony.
