  • Spriggan (2001; anime) [ARCAM Guard A]: Killed alongside the other guard (J.D. Hawkins) when the helicopter they were in gets shot at by Fat Man (Mike Kleinhenz) as he grabs it before tossing the helicopter at nearby ARCAM troops.
  • Dragon Ball Z: Broly Second Coming (2005; anime) [Broly]: Blasted into the sun by Goku (Sean Schemmel), Gohan (Kyle Hebert), and Goten (Kara Edwards) with a Kamehameha blast combo.
  • Dragon Ball Z: Bio Broly (2005; anime) [Bio Broly]: Blown up by Kamehamehas from Trunks (Laura Bailey) and Goten (Kara Edwards).
  • Mass Effect: Paragon Lost (2012; anime) [Messner]: Killed in the destruction of the collector ship, after being stabbed in the stomach by Vega (Freddie Prinze Jr.).

  • Excel Saga: Elegy to the Dogs (Menchi's Great Adventure) (2002; anime) [Wolf]: Voicing an anthropomorphic wolf, he and Kyoko (Emily Carter-Essex) sacrifice themselves by pushing Mad Spot (Matt Greenfield) and Inchiki (John Swasey) into the ground to save Menchi (Hilary Haag), the explosion from Kyoko's bomb killing them all, much to Menchi's sadness. (Played for comic effect)
  • YuYu Hakusho: Legendary Bandit: Yoko Kurama (2003; anime) [Ura Urashima]: Stabbed in the neck with a sword by Shishiwakamaru (Christopher Bevins).
  • Noir: The Sound of Waves (2003; anime) [Wellman]: Shot dead in his car alongside Burke (Illich Guardiola) by Mireille (Shelley Calene-Black).
  • RahXephon: God's Uncertain Music - Deus Ex Machina (2003; anime) [Mamoru Torigai]: Killed in the destruction of the Obbligato Dolem when the RahXephon directs a rainbow wave towards it. Brought back to life in the final episode, Far Beyond Eternity - Time Enough For Love, after Ayato (Chris Patton) defeats Quon (Kira Vincent-Davis) to return to a world where the Mulians never attacked.
  • Kino's Journey: A Tale of Feeding Off Others -I Want to Live- (2004; anime) [Slave Trader A]: Shot in the head by Kino (Kelli Cousins) with her revolver knife.
  • Hell Girl: Silent Cries (2005; anime) [Yoshiyuki Honjo]: Gets sent to Hell when Junko Kanno (Leah Clark) pulls the string from her doll.
  • Fullmetal Alchemist: Death (2006; anime) [Edward Elric]: Stabbed in the chest by Envy (Wendee Powell) with his arm formed into a sword, he is brought back to live by his brother Alphonse (Aaron Dismuke) by going to the gate to retrieve his soul in the next episode.
  • 009-1: Hard Boiled (2007; anime) [Egg]: Shot in the head by Mylene/009-1 (Alice Fulks).
  • Devil May Cry: Highway Star (2007; anime) [Elanay Killer]: Shot to death by Lady (Melissa Davis) after he reveals his demon form to her.
  • Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor: The Nightmare Encircling Net (2007; anime) [Minoru]: A human transformed into a Zoanoid by Dr. Barcas (Charles Campbell), he was killed by Agito Makishima/Guyver III (Brian Jepson) when he was disintegrated along with the other Zoanoids by his Mega-Smasher.
  • Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor: Beam of Annihilation (2007; anime) [Dr. Shirai]: Crushed to death by debris as Relic's Point collapses.
  • MÄR: Alan: The Man Who Came Late! (2007; anime) [Alibaba]: Dropped into a volcano by Alan (Lex Lang) after disrespecting him.
  • Code Geass: Final Battle Tokyo (2009; anime) [Luciano Bradley]: Killed in an explosion when his Percival is blown up by Kallen (Karen Strassman) with her Guren.
  • Dragon Ball Z Kai: Son Goku Finally Arrives! Knock The Ginyu Special-Squad Around (2009; anime) [Burter]: Neck snapped by Vegeta (Christopher Sabat) by slamming his knee into his neck after Goku (Sean Schemmel) knocks him unconscious.
  • Naruto Shippuden: Hero of the Hidden Leaf (2013; anime) [Nagato]: Dies after his chakra runs out from using a technique to revive everyone he killed in the Hidden Leaf Village from the previous episode, Tale of Naruto Uzumaki.
  • Attack On Titan: Crushing Blow: The 57th Exterior Scouting Mission, Part 5 (2014; anime) [Eld Jinn]: Bitten in half by the Female Titan (Lauren Landa) while he attempts to protect Eren Yeager (Bryce Papenbrook).
  • Digimon Fusion: A Rival Appears (2013; anime) [Christopher Aonuma, MadLeomon]: MadLeomon dies when he blows himself up in a vain attempt to destroy Shoutmon (Ben Diskin) and Dorulumon (Kyle Hebert), having been knocked into the sky by the recently-digifused Shoutmon X3 to explode. Christopher survives.
  • One-Punch Man: Unparalleled Peril (2016; anime) [Melzargard]: Killed after a multi-episode fight with Bang (John DeMita), Kamikaze (Kyle Hebert), Bad (Sam Riegel), and Puri-Puri Prisoner (Ray Chase) that ends with Bang crushing the last marble which allowed Melzargard to live. Note: This was an English dub of a scene in which Kōki Uchiyama played Melzargard.
  • JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Diamond is Unbreakable: Another One Bites the Dust Part 1 (2019; anime) [Rohan Kishibe]: Blown up by Yoshikage Kira (D.C. Douglas) with Bites the Dust. Brought back to life via time loop in the episode, Crazy D is Unbreakable Part 1, when Kira undoes the effects of Bites the Dust while battling Josuke (Billy Kametz).

OVA Deaths[]

  • Crying Freeman: The Light In The Darkness (1994; anime) [Chōko Tateoka]: Electrocuted to death in the head by Freeman (Steve Bulen) as he tries to ambush and kill him.
